A thriving, three-form entry primary school in the heart of Edgware (Harrow LA), rated Good by Ofsted, is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher for a part-time role. This inclusive and forward-thinking school prides itself on fostering a supportive learning environment where children are empowered to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a dynamic Year 6 Class Teacher to join our team for two days per week (flexible days) as part of a job-share arrangement. The role involves delivering engaging and effective lessons, sharing planning with experienced parallel teachers, and contributing to a collaborative and caring KS2 team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach a Year 6 class 2 days per week (job share)

• Support pupils through SATs preparation and transition to secondary school

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a well-rounded and progressive curriculum

• Contribute to ongoing assessment, feedback, and classroom management

Requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6

• Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment frameworks

• A proactive, reflective approach to teaching and teamwork

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (enhanced DBS required)
