Travel Consultant – Part Time – Saint Andrews


We have a unique opportunity which has arisen in our St.Andrews office for a Travel Consultant. Applicants will be customer service oriented, computer literate and able to communicate clearly verbally and in written form with customers and companies alike.
This role would suit someone who has an interest in travel and has experience of travelling as our consultants are knowledgeable in locations in which customers are enquiring.
The successful candidate’s role will be wide and varied, depending on our customers requirments. Tasks may include booking long haul flights, package deals or holiday itineraries.
As a Travel Consultant you will be expected to carry out tasks such as displaying promotional material, providing travel information to customers, networking with tour operators, preparing quotations, managing customer issues and booking hotel rooms.
Desired knowledge includes customs, language, geography and history of various countries. Additionally, candidates with an educational background in areas such as Tourism, Travel, Geography, Business, Hospitality or Public Relations are highly desired.
