About the Role:

As a key part of the classroom team, the Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and therapists to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, promote independence, and help create a calm, engaging learning environment where every child is valued.

The Teaching Assistant will also play a vital role in assisting with personal care tasks, including pad changing, ensuring all pupils’ physical and emotional well-being is supported with dignity and respect.

What We’re Looking For:

A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic attitude

*

Experience working with children or young people (in school or care settings) is desirable but not essential

*

A genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*

A valid Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

*

Willingness to assist with personal care duties (pad changing) when required
