Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? M&M Supply, a trusted education agency, is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work in supportive and inclusive schools across Taunton.
About the Role:
* Providing tailored support to children with additional learning needs.
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
* Using strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other needs.
* Encouraging social and emotional development to help students thrive.
* Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to create personalised learning plans.
Requirements:
✔ Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
✔ A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to learning support.
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply).
✔ Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable but not required.
