Teaching Assistant – Part Time – Southwark

Remedy Education are currently working with a lovely primary school based in Southwark who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to start in a full-time position in a large Primary school within year 2. The suitable candidate will be confident, resilient and comfortable working with SEN pupils who require extra support, sometimes in 1:1 scenario’s.

This would be an ideal role for a Teaching Assistant keen to join a strong staffing team who are dedicated and passionate about their work.

Rate of pay – £105 – £115 per hour
Hours – 8:30am – 15.30pmExperience, training and qualification:

Calming mannerisms in challenging situations
Ability to think quickly & without supervision
Confident when working with small groups or 1-1
Strong behaviour management skills while creating a fun learning environment
Driven to motivate the pupil and increase participation
Be caring, patient and have good communication skills
Be self-reflective, have a willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative
Willing to complete Safeguarding online trainingTo be eligible for this role through Remedy, you must:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related referencesRemedy is able to offer the successful candidate:
