Multiple part-time positions are available for a Sports Centre Duty Manager. These positions are on an 11.5 hour contract basis. There is onsite parking facilities and cycle storage available, you will also have access to the schools gym, one to one wellbing support and support to complete CPD which is applicable for role.
The Sports Centre is part of Gloucestershires largest comprehensive school with over 200 staff and 1,700 students. The centre has a fitness suite and 3G sports pitches, whilst not in use by students on weekday evenings and throughout the weekend, many of these high-quality facilities are available to let.
As a Sports Centre Duty Manager you will:
Oversee the running of the facilities whilst on duty, with responsibility for the daily lettings set up, plus set up for internal and external events within school buildings.
Support the site & lettings manager in leading all associated activities.
Be a key holder, responsible for the opening and closing of the facilities.
Covering the sports centre reception during opening hours. Answering enquiries (phone, email and face-to-face), dealing with enquiries and bookings and collecting customer feedback.
We are keen to speak to people about this Sports Centre Duty Manager opportunity who have the following skills and experience:
Experience in a previous management / team leader position.
Experience of developing and maintaining contacts with outside agencies as appropriate.
Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office365 applications.
Customer focused with a friendly and positive attitude.
First Aid at work qualification – or be willing to complete.
In return you will receive a pay rate of £11.20 per hour.
Shifts available are Thursday 4.30pm – 10.30pm, Friday 4.30pm – 10.00 pm and when available a weekend shift is 08.15am – 4.15pm (this can be split into half day shifts)
