Senior Support Worker
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Support Worker in the Rutherglen/Cambuslang area!

As a Senior Support Worker, your duties could involve supporting and mentoring support staff, identify training needs and leading the writing of support plans. There will also be practical support with the person`s daily life, personal care or helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle to the individual you are supporting.
We support many individuals with a variety of needs, children and adults, some will also have physical and/or learning disabilities, some with limited verbal communication and some with challenging behaviour.
We support 2500 people and each person we support is a unique individual meaning each support role will be different to the next giving you the chance to make a difference in that person`s life.

In this post, you would be expected to work flexibly and participate in Sleepovers, Shift work, On Call or Waking Nights as required.
For this fantastic opportunity, you will need at least 2 years previous experience of supporting individuals within care and already have or working towards you SVQ level 3.
A valid driver`s licence and access to a car is essential for this post.

The successful applicant must also register with SSSC as a Supervisor in Care at Home, Housing Support Services and Children`s Services on taking up the post.
