Senior Manager – Accountancy Practice – Part Time – Allington, Kent

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to work closely with the Partner. Ideally, you will be ACA or ACCA-qualified or perhaps QBE with strong technical skills. This role could also prove to be a fantastic business opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual with ambitions to run your own firm in the future. The firm offers plenty of flexibility for this close-knit team.

The practice has continued to grow through recommendations and requires an experienced professional to help with the smooth running of the business. You will help oversee a client portfolio which consists of many owner- managed companies, based throughout Maidstone, Kent, and the surrounding areas.

The work of the Senior Accounts Manager is varied and will involve:

Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts

Assisting clients with Personal and Corporation Tax returns/compliance

Reviewing the work of the Bookkeeping team and junior staff

Business Advisory work

Onboarding new clients

Systems used include Iris, Sage 50, Xero, and QuickBooks

Requirements

Senior Manager – Accountancy Practice Maidstone

Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience.

5-10+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience.

Experience preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.

£55,000 – £65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
