We are a looking for a part time (4 days per week) Senior ER Advisor to be a trusted credible partner to the business on all areas of employee relations to improve business performance and colleague engagement.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Support the development and implementation of our ER agenda and key People policies to improve the effectiveness of the business in line with the overall business strategy.
Facilitate best practice and consistency by providing ER advice and guidance across the business.
Support managers with complex disciplinary and grievance investigations, hearings and appeals providing HR and Employment Law advice ensuring consistency, fairness and compassion.
Work with the Strategic People Partners and members of the People team on key business projects and taking a lead on the ER impacts of change.
Coach and develop business leaders in ER procedures to maximise their capabilities and improve their technical and practical people skills reducing their reliance on the People team going forward.
Partner with our Colleague & Leadership Development on the design and delivery of training for line managers including disciplinary and investigation, stress management and absence management amongst others.
Ensure ER MI is accurate and up to date. Analyse trends to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
Update Policies and Procedures in line with Business, regulatory and legislative requirements.
Manage absence cases and long term sickness cases within the business, liaising with the Occupational Health provider as required.
Be a strong team player supporting the broader people agenda as required.Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Dealing with disciplinaries, appeals and grievances (essential)
Strong Employment Law understanding (essential)
Experience of compromise agreements, tribunal and ACAS proceedings (essential)
Experience in implementing re-structures/organisation re-design (desirable)
Delivering training up to management level (desirable)
Working within a Call Centre environment (desirable)
Fully or Part CIPD qualified or equivalent
Organised and the ability to effectively plan, manage and prioritise workloads
Ability to interpret, analyse and present MI data in a user friendly format and make recommendations
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
