SEN Tutor Harlow, Essex
£30 to £35 per hour
* Home tuition, family home in Harlow
* 8 hours per week (2 hours per day, 4 days per week, 1pm to 3pm preferred)
* Start date: 1st September 2026
The Role
We are looking for a calm, patient SEN Tutor to support a Year 12 learner 1:1 at home. The student has Crohn’s disease and anxiety and has not left the family home for around two years. As SEN Tutor, you will help rebuild confidence and re-engagement with learning, working towards Functional Skills English and maths, with science as an entry point.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as an SEN Tutor with anxious or medically complex learners
* Understanding of school avoidance and low-demand approaches
* Patient, consistent and reliable
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
