Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:45am – 12:30pm
Salary: £37,870 – £56,154 per annum (pro rata)
We are working in partnership with a specialist SEN College in Sutton to recruit an experienced and dedicated SEN Tutor to support Post-16 learners with Autism and complex needs.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a tutor who is passionate about inclusive education and confident delivering Functional Skills Maths, with the ability to incorporate Sports Science into a creative and engaging curriculum.
The Role
*
Deliver Functional Skills Maths and Sports Science to Post-16 students
*
Support learners with Autism and complex needs, adapting teaching approaches to individual learning styles
*
Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes
*
Promote independence, confidence, and life skills through both academic and practical learning
*
Work collaboratively with SEN support staff, therapists, and college leadership

Requirements
*
Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths (essential)
*
Subject knowledge or experience in Sports Science (desirable)
*
Previous experience working with Autism and complex needs
*
Background in SEN education, tutoring, or specialist provision
*
Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting learner progress
Salary: £37870 – £56154/annum
