We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist setting based in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, with an MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) or SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) background being highly desirable.

The Role:

* Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

* Supporting students with additional learning and behavioural needs

* Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

* Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers

* Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

* Previous SEN teaching experience

* MLD or SLD experience preferred

* Strong behaviour management and communication skills

* Passionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
