Retail Buyer – Part Time – Great Missenden

We are looking for a commercially minded, detail-focused Retail Buyer to support our award-winning and fast-growing farm shop.

As the shop continues to expand – with a newly renovated space, cheese room, deli and butchery – we are separating buying from operational management to ensure strong stock control, margin protection and seasonal product development.

This part-time role is ideal for someone with previous retail buying experience who is looking for flexible weekday hours within a high-quality independent food retail environment.

The Role

You will:

* Oversee product ordering across grocery, chilled and seasonal ranges

* Maintain accurate stock levels and manage purchase orders

* Monitor margins, pricing and product performance

* Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager and Buying Assistant on promotions and seasonal campaigns

* Oversee stockroom organisation and product flow

* Keep EPOS/back-office systems up to date

* Support and guide the Buying Assistant

Part-time On Site (16 hours per week across 4 days Tuesday – Friday). Some flexibility is required during peak seasons. Hourly rate of c £15; employed also an option

Salary: £14 – £15/hour
