*Registered Manager – Children Services (Full-time, 40 hours per week)*

Healthcare Talent are recruiting for a Registered Manager to work for one of our client’s Children & Young Adults’ Residential Services. Our client are a national healthcare provider who supports children, young adults and adults with autism, mental health, learning disabilities and brain injuries.

If you do not meet the essential worker criteria below, you will not be shortlisted:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or an equivalent qualification.

* A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years.

* A minimum of 1 years’ experience of supervising and managing
professional staff.

* Must hold a full driving licence and have the use of a vehicle as travelling may be required throughout the UK.

As a Registered Manager you will work within a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the units and in delivering person centred care in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and well being.

The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise their workload and that of their team, maintaining and monitoring accurate records. They must be able to work effectively within a team and independently when required.

They must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills as these are key to the role, as is an understanding of and experience of adolescent and challenging behaviour.

Salary: £38000 – £48000/annum
