Are you an experienced project manager on new builds or fit outs? TXM are working with a client who are fitting out a luxury train in Scotland. This project will be a 5-6 month rolling contract based at a site in Glasgow where you will be required 5 days a week.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Develop and monitor project plans and budgets to ensure timely delivery and completion within financial constraints.
Ensure compliance with client specifications, contractual conditions, and company operations and safety management procedures.
Effectively manage all project resources, including staff, labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors, to align with project objectives.
Establish and maintain clear reporting processes, performance targets, and accurate site administration systems to document progress and outcomes.
Liaise proactively with clients and stakeholders, addressing progress updates, problem resolution, and fostering strong professional relationships.
Monitor financial performance using cost reports, implement value engineering to maximize contributions, and take steps to minimize costs.
Uphold high standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance throughout the project, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
Extensive project management experience on new build and fit-out type projects
Excellent leadership, organising and communication skills
Third level qualification in a related subject or experience in a similar Project Management role
Ability to plan ahead and organise workload
Sound commercial acumen, cost awareness and IT skills
Ability to build and promote successful customer relationships
Willing to travel as extensive travel throughout the UK will be required
