Brewster Partners are working with our client to recruit a Part Time Sales/Customer Support Co-ordinator to join their Sales and Administration team. The role involves outbound calling to qualify leads for the external sales team so would suit a confident and resilient individual ideally with some experience in a similar role. Conveniently located for both public transport and commuters, the job is easily accessible for candidates in Doncaster, Rotherham and surrounding areas. The position is very customer service based and needs someone with good customer service and administration skills.
Please note that this position is part time, 3 days per week (days to suit the suitable applicant).
The job involves working as part of the sales team in a small-medium business, keeping track of all possible sales leads, following these up and then passing to the external sales team to close. Duties will include:
Speaking to and emailing new and existing clients, gathering business leads and information on forthcoming projects – establishing decision makers and developing relationships
Logging all info on the CRM system
Generating new business via the lead database – researching possible projects, speaking to relevant parties and reaching out for further information.
Arranging appointments for the external sales team where appropriate
Maintaining follow-up procedures with potential customers, managing own workflow and scheduling these in
Managing and updating leads on the system from other sources than the database such as trade shows and exhibitions
Nurturing long term opportunities
Following up on quotations sent to potential customers

To be successful in your application you need to be able to demonstrate experience working with a CRM system, MS Excel and Word and have administration and sales experience. This is not an outbound sales role with a bonus attached as you are completing the initial stage of qualifying the lead and gauging interest – finding out more information in order for the sales team to go in and do the rest. As such you will need to be resilient and also inquisitive to find out everything you possibly can, picking up on buying signals and building rapport and relationships on every call and email.
Any experience in the construction or building products industry is desirable as is experience using a lead generating database such as Glenigan or ABI.
You’ll need plenty of initiative and an organised approach, a customer-focused mindset and strong attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and a strong team player, who has a professional and polite manner and is able to work under pressure.
Generous holiday allowance (starting at 23 days p/a + stats, to increase to 28 + stats)
