Part-Time Bookkeeper – Freight Forwarding

2-3 Days per Week

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a well-established freight and logistics business. This role would suit someone looking for flexibility, with the option to work 2-3 days per week (or equivalent hours).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage accounting software
Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
Reconcile accounts, manage ledgers, and handle general financial administration
Support management with accurate financial records and reporting

Requirements:

Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally within an SME environment)
Strong working knowledge of Sage
Experience preparing VAT returns
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Hours & Salary:

Part-time: 2-3 days per week (or flexible equivalent)
