Paediatric Complex Care Nurse – Cardiff, South London

Pay Rate:
£48,000 per year FTE or £29.77 per hour (PAYE)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Complex Care Nurse to provide specialist care for a 7-month-old baby with complex medical needs. This is a highly rewarding role where your expertise will make a significant impact on the child’s well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
NG Feeding
– Provide nutritional support via a NG tube.
Suctioning
– Perform both oral and deep suctioning to manage secretions.
Medication Administration
– Accurately administer and manage multiple medications via an NG Tube.
Oxygen Saturation Monitoring
– Ensure oxygen levels remain stable and within a safe range.
Requirements:
Experience in paediatric complex care, ideally with infants.
Proficiency in epilepsy care, NG feeding, suctioning, and medication administration.
Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
