Outreach Day Support Worker (Full Or Part Time) – Part Time –

A well established large national organization are recruiting for a Day Support Worker for their outreach services in Banwell, Somerset. You will be working with Adults, who have Autism and can display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
– Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
– Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
– Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
– Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
– Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
– Some aspects or full personal care required but no manual handling / hoisting

Qualifying candidates:
– Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
– Must be a car driver with your own car

Contract / Terms:
– Salary is £7,030 – £16,250 per annum = £8.45 an hour
– We have upto 16 – 37 hour contracts available, Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
– Day shifts can vary between 7am – 10pm
