Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Music Cover

We are supporting two fantastic primary schools — one in Ealing and one in Bexley — both looking for confident, creative and musically‑skilled HLTAs to deliver Music lessons and provide high‑quality classroom cover.

These roles are perfect for someone who loves inspiring children through music, is confident leading whole‑class sessions, and can support learning across a range of year groups.

The Role

* Deliver engaging Music lessons using pre‑planned materials

* Lead singing, rhythm, instrument‑based and creative music activities

* Provide HLTA‑level cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when required

* Support pupils with a wide range of learning needs, including SEN

* Lead small‑group interventions or creative music workshops

* Assist with planning, preparation and resource setup

* Create a fun, energetic and inclusive learning environment

We’re Looking For

* A qualified HLTA or experienced TA confident delivering whole‑class teaching

* Strong musical ability (e.g., singing, instruments, rhythm, music tech)

* Experience supporting learning in primary (EYFS–KS2)

* Good classroom management and a positive, engaging approach

* Someone enthusiastic, creative and passionate about children’s learning

* Ability to adapt to different classes and year groups
