Mentor – Part Time – Wolverhampton

Part-Time Mentor for a Year 11 student

Location: Community Hub
Hours: 5 per week
Contract: Part-time / Term-time
Pay: £20–£30 per hour (dependent on experience and training)

The Role:

* Provide calm, consistent, and supportive tuition sessions in a local library setting

* Support the student’s academic learning while encouraging focus and positive engagement

* Build a positive, trusting relationship to promote confidence and motivation

* Support emotional regulation and appropriate behaviour within a public learning environment

* Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenges and maintain a safe, respectful space

* Adapt teaching approaches to meet the student’s individual needs and learning goals

* Act as a positive role model, encouraging structure, routine, and accountability

Salary: £20 – £30/hour
