HR Manager – Part Time – Part Time – Wellingborough


Job Title: HR Manager – part time

Hours: 30 hours per week (hours to operate within 9am-5pm working week)

Salary: £40,000 pro rata + benefits

Location: Wellingborough

Agenda Partnership are supporting our Wellingborough based client with search for their next HR Manager. This is an autonomous, stand along HR Manager role that covers all aspects of HR. Reporting into the Managing Director, this role will have full responsibility for supporting the business with the development and implementation of an effective human resource strategy that aligns with the overall company vision and values. The HR Manager will work closely with the leadership team to embed effective recruitment, development and ER processes.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, ensuring the business remains compliant in line with legislation

* To work in collaboration with the Executive and Management team to originate and develop HR strategies that consider immediate and long-term staff requirements, skill sets and development needs

* Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancies

* To ensure all the required HR policies and procedures are in place, current, legally compliant and meet the required guidance on best practice set out by ACAS

* Overseeing company recruitment for all departments, including advertising, liaising with agencies and conducting interviews

* To liaise with line managers to determine colleague development and training needs

* To provide guidance and support to line managers on all Employee Relation matters

* To effectively implement and manage the annual performance review process

* To support with and administer monthly payroll

* To maintain accurate employee records and data

* To advise, lead and support on people issues linked to business change

* To work closely with the Executive team to ensure good employee engagement exists throughout the business

* Organise company/team social events

Experience required:

* Ideally qualified to CIPD level 5 or equivalent

* Preferably worked within a manufacturing environment, but not essential

* In depth working knowledge of HR best practice and up to date employment law is essential,

* Experience of managing and implementing change.
