Finance Manager – Part Time – Alton

Out client is on the lookout for a dynamic and proactive Finance Manager to join their team and drive financial success. If you’re ACCA/ACA qualified (or QBE with a minimum of 7 years in accounting/finance) and have a passion for leading teams and improving processes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Please be advised this is a part time opportunity (3-4 days per week), however full time may be considered.
Working as the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in finance operations work closely with partners and managers, to promote efficiency and innovation across the board.
Daily Finance Manager Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the finance function, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
* Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, KPIs, and other key financial reports.
* Provide vital financial insights, including weekly cashflow forecasts and monthly billing targets.
* Prepare annual budgets and ensure compliance with ICAEW and other regulatory requirements.
* Manage intercompany reconciliations and maintain oversight of sales and purchase ledgers.
* Handle payroll, VAT returns, expenses, and disbursement management with precision.
* Play a key role in the continued development of internal systems and support the growth of the business.
Essential Experience:
* ACCA/ACA qualification or QBE with 7+ years of accounting experience, particularly in general practice management.
* Proven managerial experience with strong leadership skills.
* Proactive, organised, and deadline-driven with excellent communication abilities.
* A solid understanding of accountancy practice measures and their impact on business performance.
* Bonus points if you have intermediate Excel skills, experience with IRIS and Xero
