Job Title: Family Support Worker

Position Overview:

As a Family Support Worker specialising in SEND and Global Development Delay, you will play a crucial role in providing one-on-one support to young people with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include promoting emotional well-being, supporting social development, and creating a nurturing environment for growth. This position involves planning and executing various activities tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with young people on a 1-2-1 basis to understand their unique needs and challenges.
Develop and implement strategies to support emotional well-being and social development.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support network.
Design and facilitate activities that cater to the specific requirements of each individual, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience.
Stay informed about the latest developments in SEND and global development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Drive to and from various locations as needed for client support and activitiesQualifications:

Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs is essential.
Strong understanding of global development issues and a passion for making a positive impact.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with young people and their families.
Ability to plan and execute activities that promote social development and emotional well-being.
