Job Title: English Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: Southwark, London
Contract: Part-Time, Fixed-Term
About the Role:
We are working in partnership with a well-established school in Southwark, London, to find an experienced and passionate English Teacher for a part-time role. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering English lessons at both GCSE and A-Level. A major benefit of this role is that no planning is required, as lesson plans will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality English lessons for students at GCSE and A-Level
* Foster a love for literature, language, and critical thinking among students
* Monitor and track student progress and provide support as needed
* Prepare students for exams and assessments
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of the curriculum
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A passion for English and teaching
* Experience teaching English at GCSE and A-Level
* Strong communication and organisational skills
