Locum Educational Psychologist Opportunity

Suffolk County Council, in partnership with Opus People Solutions, is delighted to offer an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our dedicated award winning Psychology & Therapeutic Services team.
We are seeking HCPC‑registered Educational Psychologists to:
Deliver statutory psychological advice through a co‑produced Joint Assessment Meeting (JAM) model
Work in a child‑centred, strengths‑based way alongside schools and families
Contribute to collaborative, solution‑focused assessment and planningYou will be supported with:
A clear psychological advice template
Practical JAM delivery materials
Quality assurance processes
Responsive business and operational supportYou will bring:
Current HCPC registration
Recent experience completing statutory advice as part of EHC needs assessments
Confidence in facilitating multi‑professional, family‑inclusive meetings
Ability to produce high‑quality written psychological advice aligned with the SEND Code of PracticeWe offer:
Induction and resources to support JAM delivery
Clear process maps to support operational practice (including data protection and safeguarding)
Efficient administrative support
SCC email and SharePoint access to enable safe and secure working
