To provide managerial support to all aspects of the refuge. This is a 24-hour refuge which provides a safe place for women and their children who have been victims of domestic violence.
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of this service. You will be doing rota’s, budgeting, managing staff, training staff, assisting with benefit claims, using computer systems, conducting talks and presentations to local authorities, the public and other organisations and much more.
You will have a strong background in working with people who have been victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will have worked for a non-profit organisation and have a good knowledge of how the benefits system works. You will have managerial experience in a similar setting, and it would be advantageous if you have worked with people with complex needs before.
Salary: £165000 – £175000/annum
