Practice: Total Orthodontics, part of Bupa Dental Care 
Position: Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Nurse
Hours: 24 hours per week (Wednesday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Nurse to join our busy practice on Ormeau Road, Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, purpose-built practice that offers a range of private orthodontic treatments and NHS care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist orthodontists in providing high-quality patient care

Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials

Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

Maintain accurate patient records


GDC Registration: Covered by Bupa Dental Care

DBS Check: Covered by Bupa Dental Care

Professional Indemnity: Covered by Bupa Dental Care

Total Orthodontics Belfast, Ormeau Road, is conveniently located on the edge of Ormeau Park, just south of Belfast city centre. The practice is within a short walk from Botanic train station and is easily accessible by several bus lines, including 6C, 7B, and 7C. The nearest bus stop, South Parade, is just a 2-minute walk away.

Qualified Dental Nurse skills and experience required for this role:

GDC Registered

Preferred Dentally experience

Ensure CQC requirements are met

Update patient records – digitally held

Set up decontamination of instruments

Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists

Undertake some reception duties

Willingness to provide exceptional patient care
