experience mental ill health in their lifetime, or be close to someone who does. Response Organisation is one of the largest mental health charities in Oxfordshire that provides housing and a range of support for people that experience severe and enduring mental health needs.
We are currently looking to recruit a part time, permanent Chef who will play a key role at our Oxford Site. As the Chef, you will be responsible for managing the operation of the kitchen including food production, supplies, presentation/service and record management and compliance with quality and safety standards to maintain the current food hygiene rating of 5.
The duties within any role vary from day to day. Some of the core duties within the house will include:
Maintain accurate records of freezer/fridge temperatures as required by Environmental Health, Food Standards Agency
and the Company
Preparation of the cooking and serving of delicious and nutritious hot and cold meals as and when required
Liaising with the project’s management and residents when planning menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet
Maintaining accurate records of food supplies and waste as well as planning, designing and costing of menus.
Ensuring that basic food hygiene standards are maintained by all staff involved in handling and delivery of food.
