Working in a truly stunning 30 bed Nursing Home, for a market leading healthcare provider. You must have at least 2 years UK catering and supervisory experience.

You will be joining a fantastic group of homes. This is a brilliant role for a fantastic company.

Roles available:

• Permanent 24 hours per week (Guaranteed hours)

• £17.00 per hour

• Rated 9.3 / 10 by CareHome

Shift Pattern:

• 24 hours per week between 7:00am – 8pm (Own transport Essential due to lack of public transport)

• 24 hours is 3 x 8 hour shifts.

• Alternative Weekends off.

• No Late Nights.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare daily menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents.
• Prepare meals that are appetising, visually appealing and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of food orders and inventory.
• Ensure that all food is stored, prepared, and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and service.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

Education and Qualification:

• Food Hygiene Certified – Level 2 – willing to work towards Intermediate Food Hygiene qualifications.

• First Aid Certified.

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.

Salary: £17/hour 24 hours a week
