Uniform Education is recruiting a Part-Time Morning Caretaker for a school in Hayes. This role is ideal for someone local who enjoys hands-on work, routine maintenance, and keeping things running smoothly during the busy start of the school day.
About the Role:
As a Caretaker, you will:

Open up the school each morning and ensure the site is safe, clean, and ready for the day
*
Carry out basic maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks as needed
*
Conduct daily checks on heating, lighting, and security systems
*
Support with deliveries, waste management, and ensuring outdoor areas are tidy and safe
*
Report any health and safety or maintenance concerns promptly
*
Work closely with the site team and school leadership to maintain high standards across the premises
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Caretaker, Site Assistant, or Maintenance Worker (essential)
*
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
*
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
*
Friendly and professional approach to staff and pupils
*
Flexibility and a commitment to maintaining a safe school environment
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)
Salary: £15.32 – £17.85/hour
