Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a CAMHS Registered Independent Advanced Non-Medical Nurse Prescriber Practitioner (RMN/CPN/RNLD) Band 5/6/7 to join the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based out of Haringey in Greater London. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The post holder must be an NMC Registered Nurse and an Independent Nurse Prescriber and possess a sound knowledge of child development. You will work alongside our Child Psychiatrists and part of your role will be to share the management of any pharmacological interventions as a nurse prescriber. You will be responsible for demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes, safe and effective delivery of care to children and young people. You will be expected to manage your caseload effectively in order to improve the experience for the child and family, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately within a multiagency context where collaborative working is key. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible and able to use initiative. You will also need to be capable of working independently as well as part of the wider CAMHS multidisciplinary team and be adaptable to the changing needs of the organisation and be able to work across disciplines.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £18.81 – £32.81 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
