We are currently recruiting for a Temporary BTEC Art Tutor/Teacher (QTS preferred) to work in an SEN school in Romford on a week-by-week basis.
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary (weekly)
Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering engaging BTEC Art lessons to students aged 14–16 in a supportive SEN environment, helping learners develop both creative and academic skills.
Key Requirements
*
Experience teaching in a 14–16 education setting
*
Previous experience working in an SEN environment (essential or highly desirable)
*
Strong classroom management skills
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
*
QTS preferred (or relevant teaching/tutoring qualification)
Responsibilities
*
Plan and deliver high-quality BTEC Art lessons
*
Support students with additional needs
*
Maintain a positive and structured learning environment
*
Monitor and assess student progress
*
Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership
