ADHD Assessor & Prescriber (Consultant) – Part Time – Manchester

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced ADHD Assessors and Prescribers to support a growing ADHD assessment service. Engagement is highly flexible and can be structured on a per-client, hourly, PAYE, or self-employed basis, depending on individual preference and service requirements.

This role is well suited to clinicians looking for flexible, sessional work alongside existing NHS or private commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments (Adult and/or CAMHS)

*

Produce clear, structured diagnostic and clinical reports

*

Prescribe and manage ADHD medication where appropriately qualified

*

Work in line with NICE guidance and professional standards

*

Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation

*

Participate in MDT discussions where required

Essential Criteria

*

Current professional registration (GMC / NMC / HCPC)

*

Demonstrable experience in ADHD assessments

*

Independent Prescribing qualification where prescribing is undertaken

*

Strong knowledge of ADHD diagnostic pathways

*

Ability to work independently and remotely

*

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Per-client, hourly, PAYE, or self-employed options available

Rates and structure discussed individually

Consistent referral flow available

Desirable Experience

*

NHS, RTC, or community ADHD services

*

Adult and/or CAMHS pathways
